The Children of Color is an educational text,
workbook and teacher/parent guide for children from
late elementary to junior high school level.  
The Children of Color text tells the story of a
fictional land where children are not allowed to use
their imaginations.  One day, they discover an
underground building of wonders where they discover
that rain can sing, that they can meausure angles with
color and that they can read messages from the stars.  
In the workbook, children first learn  thinking /
problem-solving skills, and then practice them
throughout the book's imagination-stimulating activities  
that explore the links between art, mathematics
and science.
The Children of Color is designed for children of
every ethnic background and is targeted to 4th, 5th, 6th,
7th and 8th Grades (ages 9 to 13). It is ideal as a
Thinking / Problem - Solving Text, a Reading Text, a
Mathematics Enrichment Text, a Summer or Afterschool
Enrichment Program, a Home-Schooling Text or a
Montessori Text.

includes a free downloadable board game.
